Jenna had the most amazing location for her Bridal Preparations with an incredible view and rooms for her to get ready in. Located just down the hill from Maleny called Highwood Park. Jenna was very sensible and planned a backup wet weather plan at the little white church in Maleny.
The weather was a little unpredictable the week leading up to the day. The afternoon of their rehearsal was a complete white out with fog covering their ceremony location. However the fog lifted overnight and Jenna and Jordy were blessed with a perfect day and lots of sunshine. Wow what a location for a ceremony with the Glass House Mountains in view.
Jenna was an absolutely stunning bride and as she walked down the aisle with her parents, the tears streamed down Jordy’s face. It was so beautiful to watch. These two are soulmates.
Before heading to “The Orangery Maleny” for reception. We stopped at a few of the Wedding Photo locations Maleny has to offer during the “golden hour” before sunset. We took advantage of the incredible light and long grass just down the road from the Ceremony. Then we stopped at Maleny Agapanthus Farm & Clivia Gardens to take some photos in the amazing driveway lined with tall trees. We decided not to use One Tree Hill Maleny as their was a bit of a line up and instead went to a location with a amazing view of the sunset.
“The Orangery” is a great venue with its quirky tea and chandeliers and amazing staff and delicious food. They even had the awesome Sally Skelton from the voice as the entertainment for the evening. Jenna sang a song she wrote for Jordy as part of her speech which was amazing also.
